The Golden State Warriors got even with Keaton Wagler. A month after the Clippers rookie beat them with a late jumper in Hawaii, Golden State won the regular-season rematch 124-112 at home, according to ESPN. The win was their fourth straight and moved them to 4-3 after an 0-3 start.

Wagler came into the game with a history against this opponent. In the preseason opener, the No. 5 pick in this year's draft hit a turnaround step-back with 14 seconds left to give Los Angeles a 104-101 win over Stephen Curry and the Warriors, Yahoo Sports reported, citing ClutchPoints. The ESPN play-by-play from that exhibition shows how much of the offense went through him. He handled the ball constantly, created shots for Kris Dunn and Blake Wesley, earned trips to the line and kept pulling up from 25 feet even though most of those threes missed.

This time the Clippers' late push never arrived. ESPN's video feed from the same night also credited Yaxel Lendeborg with a career-high 37 points against the Clippers. Golden State led comfortably enough that the final margin held at 12. It was the third time in the four-game streak that the Warriors won by double digits, after a 20-point win in Denver and a 17-point win over the Lakers. The other was a five-point win in Minnesota.

The turnaround looks real. Golden State opened with a 22-point loss to the Lakers, a three-point loss to Memphis and a nine-point loss in Phoenix. Since then the offense has scored at least 112 in every game, and the defense has held three of four opponents to 114 or fewer.

What it means for Phoenix on Monday

The Warriors host the Phoenix Suns on Monday, November 2, which gives them a quick chance to answer for one of their early losses. Phoenix beat them 131-122 on its own floor, and that 131 is still the most Golden State has allowed this season. The Warriors have shown they can score with anyone during this run. Whether they can keep the Suns well short of 130 will likely decide the game.

Golden State is favored on this site's odds board, which tracks 12 venues. Novig has the Warriors at -174 on the moneyline and Phoenix at +170. That is a narrow gap between the two sides, while sportsbook hold runs from 3.2% to 5.0%. On the spread, the Warriors are 4.5-point favorites, priced at -100 on Novig, with the Suns +4.5 at -102.

The total sits at 227.5 on Novig, with the over at -106 and the under at +104. That number reflects how much scoring both of these teams have done lately. The venues are not all on the same line. The best under price elsewhere is BetMGM's -115 at 228.5, a point higher but a much steeper price than Novig's plus number at 227.5. Sportsbook hold on the total ranges from 3.4% to 4.9%, and on the spread from 2.9% to 5.0%.

A win would put Golden State two games over .500 for the first time this season and would split the season series with Phoenix.
