Yaxel Lendeborg questionable at Minnesota after his 31-point night in Denver
The Warriors rookie has 87 points in four games, the most by a Warriors rookie since Wilt Chamberlain. He is listed with foot soreness for Minnesota.

Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg is questionable for Wednesday night's game at Minnesota with foot soreness, according to ESPN's injury report, two nights after he scored 31 points in the Warriors' first win of the season.
Lendeborg had 31 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in Monday's 134-114 win at Denver. His 87 points through four games are the most by a Warriors rookie in his first four since Wilt Chamberlain in 1959, and he is the first Warriors rookie with at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a game since Stephen Curry in 2010, ESPN's Anthony Slater reported. He has not missed a game.
How he got his 31
It was not his shooting from distance. Lendeborg went 1 of 8 from three and 9 of 19 overall; the rest came at the line, where he made 12 of 13, and on drives through Aaron Gordon and Nikola Jokic. His 31 free-throw attempts through four games ranked seventh in the league, according to ESPN. With Curry and Draymond Green on the bench for the closing minutes, Steve Kerr put the ball in the rookie's hands, and Lendeborg finished the game off with an assist on an Al Horford three, an alley-oop and another assist on a Gui Santos three.
"He's as strong as an ox and skilled," Kerr said afterward.
The No. 11 pick out of Michigan is 24, older than most rookies, and is 6-foot-10. With Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody recovering from knee injuries, he has started all four games on the wing and at forward, and leads the team with 87 points and 37 rebounds. He also arrived with a reputation for speaking his mind, which he confirmed on opening night by saying he had lost all respect for Luka Doncic over his complaining to officials.
If he cannot go
The Warriors are thin up front. Butler and Moody are out, Kristaps Porzingis is away from the team, and Horford is limited to about 20 minutes a night. ESPN's injury notes name Georges Niang, who has come off the bench in all four games, as the player most likely to start if Lendeborg sits.
Minnesota will be without its own star. ESPN reported Wednesday morning that Anthony Edwards will have an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee Thursday and miss up to two months; the Timberwolves are 3-1. Tip-off at Target Center is 8 p.m. Eastern, and the game is not on national TV.
Prices for the game are on the game page. The Warriors then host the Lakers on Friday in their NBA Cup opener.
